Study day in Bethlehem ahead of Pope’s pilgrimage

The “Al-Liqa’” Center in Bethlehem held an important study day on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 on the upcoming pilgrimage of Pope Francis, entitled “50 years since the Visit of Pope Paul VI and the First Visit of Pope Francis to the Holy Land”. The study day was attended by members of the Palestinian Legislative Council, senior clerics and heads of institutions.

Among the speakers were Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem Fouad Twal, the Apostolic Delegate for Palestine Archbishop Giuseppe Lazzarotto, Mufti of Bethlehem Shaykh Abd al-Hamid Ata’, Dr. Geries Khoury, founder of the “Al-Liqa’” Center, Father Rafiq Khoury, Father Rif’at Bader, Father Frans Bouwen, Father Jamal Khader, Rector of the Latin Patriarchate Seminary, Dr. Bernard Sabella, member of the Palestinian Legislative Council and Dr. Diab Ayyoush.
